I love them very much, still, despite my separation from their father. I was happy to draw them, and it’s nice to feel like they still are very happy to see me.

Title: Let Me Just Get That…

I drew this whilst listening to a very lovely song from Portal 2 called Exile, Vilify. This was extremely experimentational, trying out a new style with the tablet, as well as trying to recreate “panels” in the sort of transition-y thing they have in Portal 2. Interesting.

This is a picture of my depression, personified. My mother told me of an interesting method to try to cope with depression, and it was to personify the disease, so that I don’t blame myself for acting the way I do… and that I blame my depression, and cope better as I try to recover. Her name is Carlotta, and she sits in my mind, usually quiet these days. But when she gets angry, she turns into an ugly banshee and screams and rages and spreads lies throughout my mind.

I’m psychotic :D
